We were recently approached by London-based Zopa Bank, looking for a suitable venue for the Senior Executive Team.
The programme included bringing in an external facilitator to run a workshop and taking part in some team-building activities. They arrived on a Monday morning, with the majority of them travelling to Warwickshire by train.
After dropping off overnight luggage, we walked the group down to onsite Spot-On-Wake, to take part in their first team-builder. The AquaJungle is a floating ropes course, packed with challenging features. A real test of balance, strength, and agility with only the water below to catch you.
Having built up an appetite, the team checked into their accommodation, a mix of bedrooms and Glamping Pods. We then a healthy and delicious homemade lunch, with the group seated in the Farmhouse dining room.
They then spent the rest of the afternoon in Workshops, with an external facilitator. The team returned to the Tudor Farmhouse for a mouth-watering three course Indian dinner, lovingly prepared by the fantastic Scratch Cook Social.
The following morning, they were up early for a healthy breakfast, before heading to the Yurt to meet Adam Bray, Become One Breathwork. Adam’s gentle nature, immediately puts people at ease. He was able to give this group of busy senior executives, some valuable stress management breathing exercises, to take away and implement into daily life.
Having learnt to control their breath through Adam’s guidance, they then pushed themselves out of their comfort zone, by taking part in cold water immersion. We understand from Adam that the water temperature was about 3 degrees! Well done Team Zopa. As you can imagine, the roaring firepit was well received following this.
More meetings followed, along with a working lunch. We waved goodbye to the Team during the afternoon, having arranged taxis to take them back to the train station and onwards to London.
We’ve has some really positive feedback from the delegates and hope to see them again in the future.
